The Thomas Trophy is played by relatively new members of the Club who have a low handicap to give them experience of playing in a competition and potentially winning. There was an excellent turnout with everyone getting to play at least 4 pairs matches. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and I think we now need to restock the bar! It was a closely contested final between Paula and Howard against Phil and Rosemary. After one end Paula and Howard had a 4 shot lead but Phil and Rosemary pulled back to win the Thomas Trophy.
